​25th Young Confucius Cultural Camp: Ecological Harmony, Treating Nature with Respect (5 - 12 Years old )

Join us for 2 days of inter-disciplinary learning between Chinese language and Science. Appreciate the beauty of nature and develop environmental awareness as you learn about ecological equilibrium and sustainable development while enhancing your Chinese language skills.​

Discovering Confucius Camp​​ (Aged 5 - 7) 

Treating nature with respect
  • ​​Learn about the habitats and instincts of animals, apply knowledge learnt through games, be in awe of the natural law.​
  • Enjoy intriguing character games themed around animals; enhance Chinese communication skills. 

Outdoor activity: Behind the scenes at The Amazon Flooded Forest (River Safari) 
  • ​​Join us for a trip to the River Safari, have an unforgettable experience with ‘creatures from the sea’ and help with their meal preparation. ​
  • Learn how to tend to the lovely sea creatures from aquarists in the River Safari. ​


Role-play with rhymes! Join in the “Nature’s Symphony” 

  • Improve articulation skills through a fun improvisational session of speech and drama with rhymes; be imbued with ecological consciousness and love for nature.

The little botanist goes to class!

  • ​Through hands-on experiences, get to learn about plant structures and develop botanical interest from young. 
  • Thematic learning of hieroglyphs related to plants, spark an interest in the origins of Chinese characters.

Storytelling with nature

  • Enjoy a fun nature-themed storytelling session as learn about ecological thinking and responsibility.

Outdoor activity: Adventure for the little botanist
  • ​A field trip to the park as you observe the natural world; identify plant structures and create your own responsible collection of leaves and flower petals. 

Craft a unique botanical themed bookmark

  • Unleash creativity to create a special bookmark with your collection of leaves and flowers!

Delighting Confucius Camp (Aged 8 - 12)

Explore the beauty of nature
  • Learn all about the ecosystem and elevate your environmental knowledge.
  • Engage in a battle of wits as you play an animal-themed game that puts your language and thinking abilities to the test.    

The search for Chinese Characters in the Animal Kingdom

  • ​Learn all about the origins of hieroglyphs related to animals while playing games and develop an interest in Chinese characters.  
  • How many animal idioms and proverbs do you know? Expand your vocabulary as you put these idioms and proverbs to use in team games. 


Enhance understanding of Animal Ecology through video facilitated learning. 

  • ​​Improve comprehension skills while watching intriguing videos on animal ecology. 
  • Deepen understanding of the animal welfare issues through in-class discussion.
