Comprehension Passages and Composition Writing (Primary 5 and 6)

Learning Objectives

Gain familiarity with examination format and structure. Build up a collection of good words and expressions. Acquire different writing techniques to write compositions with ease and within a stipulated time. Acquire fundamental reading and analytical skills to answer comprehension questions effectively.

Programme Features

  • Topic-based and picture-based composition writing
    *Inclusive of situational writing composition for Primary 5/6 (Higher Chinese) class 
    Learn to select and handle different composition topics. Hone writing skills and strategies. Improve quality of writing through essay-enhancing techniques.

  • Reading Comprehension
    Answer comprehension questions with confidence by understanding the expectations of each question, as well as its corresponding answering technique.

Academic board

The academic board comprises lecturers from Confucius Institute, NTU, graduates of the Diploma in Teaching Chinese Language awarded by the Institute, current school teachers and professional educators.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to students who attend 30 or more lessons within a year.
