Confucius Institute, NTU offers various type of tailor-made courses for all primary and secondary schools.

Recap:

Confucius Institute, NTU and Nanhua Primary School Chinese literature appreciation class

In May and July 2018, we have conducted Chinese literature appreciation class in Nanhua Primary School and there were 534 students participated in this class. Our teachers not only guided students to analyse the narrative structures of the stories “Snow Kid” and “Journey to the West – the Monkey Subdues White Skeleton Demon”, but also study how the characters were portrayed in the stories.

Through compelling story telling, interactive classroom activities and handicraft making session, the students have deeper understanding on the narrative structure and writing styles. The students also have been actively participated during the Q&A session. We were glad to see students enjoy learning Chinese literature through the interactive classroom activities.

Confucius Institute, NTU participates in the Dulwich Day of Languages 2018

After being invited to the Day of Language of Dulwich Collage in the year 2017, we are delighted to meet the students from Dulwich Collage (Singapore) again in the year 2018.

On 26th September 2018, the students from Dulwich Collage (Singapore) visited Confucius Institute. They attended the language and cultural classes conducted by our teachers. We have prepared four classes for the students, they are introduction to the evolution of Chinese characters, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional festivals and the Chinese martial arts.

We believe that students from Dulwich College (Singapore) have truly benefited from their trip to Confucius Institute. We look forward to continue building a bridge between culture and language with Dulwich College (Singapore) in the future!
