Comprehension Passages And Composition Writing (Primary 5 And 6)


Learning Objectives
Master writing techniques for composition writing. Complete compositions in time. Acquire fundamental reading and analytical techniques for answering comprehension questions.

Programme Features

  • ​Language refinemen​​t​
    Build vocabulary bank through observational skills and sensitivity to surroundings. Learn about introduction, body and conclusion for compositions. Plan and write for different topics and themes.
  • Written compositions & verbal compositions:​
    Weave ideas and improve language fluency through verbal compositions. Explore diverse themes and inspirations through discussions. String unique expressions into writings.
  • ​Reading Comprehension
    Analyse and decipher passages of diverse themes through “word-cue” learning techniques. Identify various types of comprehension questions and learn the corresponding answering techniques.

Academic board
The academic board comprises lecturers from Confucius Institute, NTU, graduates of the Diploma in Teaching Chinese Language awarded by the Institute, current school teachers and professional educators.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to students who attend 30 or more lessons within a year.
